maihiro has been supporting the association "Keeping Children Safe" ("Kinder in Sicherheit e.V.") since 2007.

The non-profit organisation established in 1999 is committed to providing sustained help and support for disadvantaged children in Romania over the long-term.

In the Romanian town of Chisineu Cris, near to the Hungarian-Romanian border, the association "Keeping Children Safe" cares for 16 children in the home "Unter den Linden". The association also supported the establishment of a second children's home, which offers 43 children a new home.
