CRM consultants maihiro promotes junior kart racing talent

Ismaning bei München, 22 April 2008 – CRM consultants maihiro GmbH has become the sponsor for 9-year-old Berlin kart driver Emil Sawan-Montag, who last week competed for the first time in Bavaria since winning the ADAC eastern region kart championships and moving up to Bambini A Class.

“Our involvement is focused on fostering new young talent,” explained Bernd Hesse, one of the directors of maihiro GmbH. “Enthusiasm, passion and precision are essential elements in sport - values that are also of decisive importance for our consultation business.” Bernd Hesse emphasizes: “We have come on board as Emil’s sponsor irrespective of whether he becomes the next Michael Schumacher or whether this important experience and his unmistakable enthusiasm lead him to pursue other goals in a few years time.”

Emil Sawan Montag has been a passionate kart driver since he was four years old and has been taking part in national cart championship competitions since 2006. His first major success came last year when he won the ADAC eastern region kart championships in the beginners’ class Bambini B. In the national finals in October 2007, he managed to move up from a starting position of 18th to 9th place.

In 2008, Emil, who is in class 4 at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin, moved up to the Bambini A Class. This season he is taking part in the national ADAC Kart Masters and the regional OAKC race series, two junior motor sport championships supported by ADAC. In March, at the kart masters opening event for the ADAC Winter Cup in Oschersleben near Magdeburg, Emil was the overall winner of the Bambini A Class.

Last weekend witnessed some fierce competition for the title of best German kart driver in Mühldorf am Inn in Upper Bavaria. The second event of the newly established series was held on the 1060 meter “Schweppermannring” circuit in Ampfing. On Sunday, Emil took part is the two races in the Bambini A Class, starting in 28th position. After the qualifying round on the previous day, he started in 20th position, and, despite enormous engine problems, he prevailed against the competition and, in the second race moved up three places to 22nd position.

Emil is confident: “My engineers will do all they can to enable me to perform to the best of my abilities in the next race.”
