Frutarom - Implementation of SAP Sales Cloud & SAP PCM

Project goals:

  • Process standardization and harmonization (uniform 360-degree customer view): Offer and order entry, campaign management, visit planning and reporting, activities & visit management, opportunity management, product information, ticket management
  • Provision of a teamwork solution for sales staff using SAP Sales Cloud
  • Replacement of the company’s outdated in-house CRM solution based on Lotus Notes
  • IT harmonization through integration with SAP ERP, SAP PCM (Product Content Management), and SAP BW
  • Efficiency improvement: Digitization of manual tasks


  • Reduction of errors by digitizing previously manual work steps, such as the practice of creating price lists in PCM, etc.
  • Improved 360-degree customer overview
  • Mapping of new workflows in a way that was not possible in the previous system and integration into the SAP ERP backend system, SAP PCM, and SAP BW
  • Integrated CRM reporting & dashboards
  • Permanently available detailed product information from the ERP and PCM in the CRM front end.

Scope of the project:

  • Implementation of SAP Sales Cloud for 240 employees
  • Implementation of SAP PCM for about 30 employees
  • Consideration of the Frutarom-specific requirements of the different business areas: Special extensions outside of the SAP Sales Cloud standard
