Greater customer proximity for the Kwizda Group

Whether it’s pharmaceutical production or distribution, sales or a tailor-made mix of plant protection products, or roof greening or sealing: As varied as the business areas of Austria’s Kwizda Group are, the aim is to always precisely meet customers’ needs. This is how farmers receive their own weather-adapted plant protection mixtures. Since 2015, maihiro has been supporting Kwizda to become even more closely acquainted with customers through the SAP Hybris Sales Cloud – the Group uses the software to intuitively operate with customer data, contacts, leads and opportunities. In the fall of 2017, the third CRM project with the Austrians will go live. This time it’s with Kwizda Pharmahandel.

From the farm supplier to the multiproduct, multichannel distributor

At Kwizda, the customer has always been king. In the early days, this was literally the case. The roots of the company, which now has around 1,300 employees, lie in the Austro-Hungarian double monarchy: In 1853, Franz Johann Kwizda took over the pharmacy in Korneuburg (north of Vienna) and produced veterinary preparations with such success that he earned the title of “k.k.-Hoflieferanten” (Imperial and Royal Warrant of Appointment).

These days, there is no longer only one ruler with two monarchies; instead there are numerous “customer kings,” and all of them want to receive the best possible service. In order to do this, one needs to know them even better than when Franz Johann Kwizda knew the needs of the court. Today, the customers are no longer found in noble courtyards, but rather on many analogue and digital touchpoints.

In the video, learn about how Kwizda uses SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer to solve tomorrow’s customer management challenges:
