ABUS SC commissions maihiro for CRM project

Alarm system manufacturer to replace on-demand solution with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

maihiro is supporting ABUS Security Center GmbH & Co. KG based in Affing near Augsburg in replacement of the CRM on-demand solution used in sales and marketing with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

ABUS Security-Center (ABUS SC) is a global full-range supplier of products and services in the field of alarm systems and video surveillance technology. A key factor in the company’s CRM decision is the simple synchronisation of tasks, contacts and appointments between Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. ABUS SC expects a marked improvement in the system’s performance with the new CRM solution in addition to a considerable increase in acceptance among the around 50 system users.

Based on its best practice process model, maihiro is migrating the existing CRM on-demand solution functions to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM. During workshops with the marketing, sales and IT departments, the project team discussed the requirements of the existing system, and implemented these directly in the pre-installed test system. “We were particularly impressed by the prototype-based project approach developed by maihiro. This pragmatic approach saves resources and shows users immediately how the new solution will look,” Marcus Hellekamp, project and IT manager at ABUS SC, says of the decision for maihiro.

Due to the specific email marketing requirements, the project started in parallel with the introduction of the cloud-based email marketing solution, eC-messenger from eCircle GmbH. The countless flexible eC-messenger interfaces allow e-commerce, web analysis and CRM systems to be easily integrated. The professional dispatch software enables multi-level, highly personalised campaigns in addition to sophisticated response measurements. These results, e.g. opening rates and click behaviour, are transferred to the CRM at ABUS via an interface developed by eCircle and maihiro.

The new CRM standard solution and integration of the email marketing solution should facilitate the administration, active editing and digital approaches of all business partners (trade customers, end customers, interested parties, etc.) for the marketing and sales employees. The cooperation between the inside and newly established field sales departments should be optimised through comprehensive activity management, among other measures. The aim is also to enter the end customer leads generated via the ABUS SC Internet site in the CRM automatically. Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be integrated into the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system and into a Data Warehouse Frontend for comprehensive analyses. Integration platform Scribe Insight will be used for data migration and integration tasks. There are plans to expand the CRM system at a later date with service processes previously mapped in the ERP.
