maihiro relies on e-commerce and establishes its own consulting team as a certified hybris partner
Dominic Veit becomes a member of the maihiro Management Team
The CRM consulting company maihiro has expanded its range of services and is now launching a comprehensive offering for the implementation of future-oriented customer loyalty and omnichannel solutions. The recently concluded partnership with the Swiss company hybris AG, the leading company in the field of e-commerce according to Gartner, and the appointment of proven e-commerce expert Dominic Veit to the maihiro management team round off the consulting expertise of the established CRM expert.
The technology research and advisory firm Gartner ascertained in a magic quadrant assessment that, by 2018, companies that have invested in all areas of online personalisation and use omnichannel as the overarching sales channel will take more than 30 per cent of the market share from companies with a standard personalisation strategy. Over 70 per cent of companies will further develop their standard business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) models into a comprehensive individual customer experience strategy by 2018.
Wirtschaftswoche magazine also devotes a detailed article to the topic of omnichannel and highlights that, between 2004 and 2013, the e-commerce revenue in Germany continuously increased and tripled from 13 to 39 billion euros.
Besides classic B2C scenarios, more and more B2B-related sales, marketing and service processes are moving onto the Internet, finds consultancy company Deloitte Consulting. What’s more, customers are increasingly gathering information on the Internet before they contact the provider via another contact channel with a specific intention to buy. The consistency in market messages regardless of contact channel is also becoming noticeably more important. In the future, customers will not only be demanding continuous backend integration but also consistent process integration across all customer contact channels including e-commerce.
maihiro is reacting to these changed market conditions accordingly. “On the path to maihiro 2020, we thus reach a very important milestone for us, which will help us to consolidate and further build our market position in the future expanded SAP customer engagement and commerce environment. This will accompany and coordinate with our already ongoing efforts to orient our business model and our expertise to the expanded SAP product portfolio”, emphasises Uwe May, Managing Director at maihiro GmbH.
maihiro will further develop consulting expertise in this new field and, as a first step, has appointed Dominic Veit to the management team as the director in the hybris commerce environment. Dominic Veit has been working for the company since 1st June 2015 and, as a former head of consulting at hybris GmbH, is very familiar with the hybris organisation and eco-system. He was responsible for the entire hybris service business in Central Europe from 2009 to 2013 and also helped shape this. Since 2013, Veit has successfully established the hybris consulting business at a Swiss consulting company. In the years prior to this, he worked in various responsible positions in the field of e-commerce.
“With Dominic Veit, we are gaining a highly experienced e-commerce expert who is very familiar with the hybris organisation and the hybris eco-system. The incorporation of this technological platform is a perfect complement to the expertise in sales and marketing processes that already exists in our company,” says Uwe May, delighted.
