maihiro becomes part of the Accenture family

With the acquisition of the Munich-based CRM and CX consultancy firm, Accenture will expand its expertise in the area of customer experience and experience management. 

Ismaning/Vienna, January 7, 2020. Nearly 20 years after its founding, maihiro is setting the course for further growth and has entered into an agreement with Accenture to acquire the company. With this acquisition, Accenture will strengthen its position in customer experience (CX) and customer relationship management (CRM) as well as develop solutions for customers driving innovation and transformation in marketing, sales and service.

CRM has evolved considerably in recent years. Customer experience is now one of the fastest growing markets and is at least equivalent to ERP in terms of importance. In the future, holistic consulting in the area of customer experience will require an even greater set of competencies. This applies to technical expertise as well as creative and process issues.


maihiro, founded in 2000 and now SAP® Gold Partner, is a leading provider of SAP-based services for customer experience (CX), customer relationship management (CRM) and commerce. As a unit within Accenture, maihiro will form the basis for the CX business, initially in the DACH region and eventually for Europe, thus continuing its successful course of the last 20 years.  This step allows maihiro to ensure its future viability and provide its customers with a new level of customer experience.
